Standing out in the genre of Lo-fi music isn’t easy. Yet, if you listen often enough, you can find that 💎 hidden gem that brings variety into the game💎. If you crave a transporting sound different to what your typical Lo-fi playlist offers, then Squeeda and Enluv and their song, Invisible Medicine, is worth adding to your Lo-fi playlist. This piece from the album, Lost World, reminds me of a familiar intricate sound from the cult classic favourite PC game Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines. The Hollywood theme is the perfect fit for the reclusive allies.

Despite it sounding familiar, Invisible Medicine is still, to its credit, an original sound. I may be comparing the two songs (Invisible Medicine and the Hollywood theme), but they are different genres from different years. The video game with its soundtrack was released in 2004, and Invisible Medicine in 2021.

When I listened to Invisible Medicine, from the start, the song submerged me in deep waters 🌊. A peaceful melancholy overcame my relentless mind. My imagination went through a frenzy of fabricated instances that resembled a modern fairytale.

Invisible Medicine walks that thin line between chill and dark. The clean electric guitar delivers the immersive dark notes. A keyboard aided by the air chimes blends with the guitar to create a unique atmospheric sound.
